My name is Ruben Zamora.  I am an LMS Development Manager at the Center for Online Learning & Teaching Technology at The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley.  I have worked in Higher Education since 2001 when I was a student worker at the Center for Distance Learning as a computer tech at UT-Pan American.  In 2006 I was offered a full-time position as Help Desk Manager for the Center for Distance Learning and in 2011 advanced in the very same department to the LMS Specialist position and later in 2015 I became the LMS Development Manager where I was put in charge of all the Instructional Technologies as well as the Help Desk for the Center for Online Learning & Teaching Technology in the newly formed University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.

I have a bachelor’s in computer science and currently pursuing my master’s in educational technology.
