Techniques, strategies, resources, and tools for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating critical aspects of leadership in instructional technology issues will be addressed.
The purpose of this course is to give an opportunity to educational technology leaders/students to develop their leadership skills as Educational Technologists by gaining experience in assessing the technological readiness of a program, department, or organization and its staff as a basis for creating a technology plan specific to the site.
In addition to experience in conducting needs assessments and developing a strategic technology plan, there is an emphasis on developing skills in mentoring others in the effective integration of technology to improve learning.
